I have an acer laptop, and the monitor is messed up. It's dark all of the time. What should I do?
It's dark, as if it's unplugged and running on the battery. I've unplugged it, restarted, even switched outlets. The laptop is an Acer Aspire 4520. Please help! Thanks in Advanced!!! :D

To check the connecting jack & cable carefully (may be the resolution is wrong setting cause it out of order .....for examp...1280X1024)(the fact that the Mon only have 800X600) so you should try another Mon to check It' s quite easy to solve this problem....ha! so you should try another Mon to compare with

It may not be booting up all the way. Have you tried plugging in an external monitor? I think your problem is more to do with the computer part of your laptop rather than the screen.
