I cant find volume icon in the toolbar of my acer laptop

i cant find volume icon in the toolbar of my acer laptop. How can i regain it?
the volume icon in my acer laptop often disappears. How can i find it ? Any help?

Click Start and then Control Panel, Next, click on the Sounds and Audio Devices, By default it will open up on the Volume tab. You’ll notice the “Place volume icon in the taskbar” option is either checked or unchecked. If it’s already checked and the icon is not showing up, you need to uncheck the box, and then click Apply. Re-check the box and then click Apply again. Now your icon should appear in the taskbar. If it still disapears it may be set to hidden. Click Start, Properties, Taskbar, Customize, Volume and set to Always Show.
