What do I need to download to get DVD sound on my Acer laptop?
I have a brand new Acer laptop that has other sounds, but no sound when I play a DVD. What do I need to download to get sound with my DVDs?

MPEG2 audio or AC3 audio decoder, depending on the DVD. If you install the CCCP, virtually anything will work: http://www.cccp-project.net/

Double click on volume icon which is at right bottom of desktop and adjust the volume for cd player
