What is the partition for acer laptops? How do I fix my laptop plz help?
acer laptop that won't go to the desktop. It goes this blank screen!!! I don't have the recovery disk. I heard some laptops have a partition.

New Acer laptops have a hidden recovery partition that can be activated by holding Alt+F10 as the laptop starts up. Give that a shot.

if you computer has a recovery partition, look for something during boot that looks like 'press ___ to recover' or '... for boot options' however, that restore partition will set the computer to how it was when you first got it, without the programs you installed plus all of the crapware they give you you could try booting into safe mode, and going to a system restore point (press F8 during boot, before the splash screen)
