Why does every charger i get for my acer laptop die?

Why does every charger i get for my acer laptop die?
I have now gone threw 2 different acer laptop chargers and both died.... The first one lasted a while but this last one i've had for about 3 months.... For the next one i get can i do anything to prevent this? Thank you (:

only thing I can recommend is go to the acer web sight and buy a power cord specially made for your laptop.. sometimes theirs certain voltage requirements

i have an acer laptop and i was wondering if a manhattan universal laptop charger will work with it?

I don't see why not. That's why the word UNIVERSAL is in the description. It's intended to work with as many brands as possible. Plus, acer doesn't exactly "brick wall" their customers into using only their products like other companies. Just check the size of the port on your computer and make sure the male end of the charger will fit into it. As simple as that.

Help with connecting new Acer laptop to broadband router?
I gave my kids an Acer 5743z laptop each for Christmas, and have tried to set up the first to connect to our broadband wireless router. It asked for the password and I duly entered it, but it was rejected twice, and now when I try again, it won't even show the screen to enter the password. Can anyone help?

most probably wrong pass there are a view things you can do: -reset the router, there wont be any pass when reseted but you can make a new one. -go to a cpu which is connected to the wireless network and download this program: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_key.html (at the bottom half of the page there is a dl-link) it shows you wireless passwords you have used.

Acer Aspire 5515 laptop

Can anyone tell me why this is happening with my Acer laptop?
I have an old Acer Aspire 5515 laptop.... The screen does not show up when I turn on the computer. But it does show when I put the computer on any of the 3 safe mode options. Just wanted to know how I could possibly fix this problem and why it keeps happening. Thanks to any and all who can give me some insight. I just tried what you said and it didn't work. The screen still doesn't show up. Is their anything else I can possibly do??

It is possible that one of the drivers on the normal startup is bad which would cause it to not work but when you run it in safe mode it doesn't load that driver. The best thing you can do is turn off the computer then when you turn it back on as soon as it starts to boot up hold F8 until you hear a beep then it will give you a lot of options how to start choose, last known good configuration and that should fix the problem.
